DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS

Rahja grew up in Los Angeles, CA. She studied in Japan for one year as a high school exchange student through The American Field Service (AFS) and became fluent in Japanese. She earned her Liberal Arts undergraduate degree in Cultural Anthropology and Asian Studies from Occidental College. Rahja obtained her California Real Estate license in 2009 and will soon acquire reciprocity as a Realtor® in Washington. While holding open houses as a Realtor®, she realized that Interior Design was her true passion. She attended the Interior Design program at UCLA Extension while working full-time to put herself through school. Part of her experience involved a six-month stint in merchandising at Home Depot, where she learned the back-end side of product placement and construction. She relocated to Seattle in the summer of 2020 and is currently involved in Staging. Rahja and her husband of 20 years have two teenage daughters and a fluffy rabbit named Peaches.
